Puppet Mayhem: The Official launch of The Playground
Puppet Mayhem was A Blanck Canvas’ first huge event to celebrate the launch of our new space- The Playground, located at Seaworks Maritime Precinct in Williamstown. The sold out event celebrated the best of Melbourne’s puppetry scene, by showcasing independent local works as well as A Blanck Canvas’ signature puppets and installations.
Following Melbourne’s long lasting lock-down, where we saw the arts and events industry come to a halt, over 850 people excitedly came out to experience a variety of puppet shows, multiple roving performances, mesmerising aerial works, workshops, live bands & DJ sets, and much more. It was a huge success, and both the audience and performers had an absolute ball.
