Zel has been an important part of the team since 2017. He has a diverse range of abilities in the studio but focuses on hard fabrication-making frames and mechanisms for puppets for example. 

Zel is also one of our regular performers who has worked on The White Knight Messenger and Moomba Festival amongst other large performances. Knowing the performance requirements of puppets helps him with build complexities and details- one informs the other.

Zel loves animation, is a talented drawer and painter, has experience as a tattoo artist (having left his mark on more than one of our team members!) and is an awesome snowboarder. Zel is inspired by the natural world having also worked as an arborist and gardener in a previous life.
