In July 2024, A Blanck Canvas had the honor of transforming a TLC for Kids ambulance into a whimsical, cartoon-style submarine. TLC for Kids, Australia’s leading children’s charity, has provided relief and distraction to sick children and their families since 1998.

It was a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful cause by turning an ambulance into an enchanting underwater world. Our director, Joe Blanck, meticulously designed the layout to align with TLC for Kids’ colors and brief. The A Blanck Canvas team worked together to create a spectacle filled with interactive elements for the children, including 3D-printed gadgets, laser-cut dials, and tech components. The van’s interior was hand-painted using enamel, latex paint, oil-based pens, and paint pens, with hand-carved PVC window and monitor covers, vinyl color-matched windows, and an interactive console for the kids to enjoy.
