Over 2 Friday nights in August 2022 our performance space at Seaworks hosted some of the most incredible and extraordinary performers from the far reaches of the Galaxy in an audition process like no other!
The wickedly talented, fabulous alien duo; The Ringmaster & Floid led auditions for The Greatest Show in the Universe.
Audiences were treated to different performances each night, including circus, musical and puppetry acts. Things got loose, there was audience interaction, game shows, deep discussions about the meaning of life with a sock puppet, and lots of laughs.
But who are these “beings” looking to create The Greatest Show in the Universe?
The Ringmaster
The Ringmaster is your enigmatic, pan-galactic master of ceremonies. His charming and eccentric ways will have you howling in wonder and amusement, as he takes you down his rabbit hole and unveils the secrets of the universe. As a recovering kleptomaniac, the Ringmaster had “acquired” a number of very powerful artifacts and technological devices. From The Sceptre of Infinitude and The Amulet of Power, to CX-R5 Floid; the most powerful AI in existence.
Floid
When A Blanck Canvas created CX-R5, they knew they had created one of the most powerful AI systems ever. What they didn’t know was that when the CX-R5 Artificial intelligence system reached ‘singularity’ and became sentient, it would decide to call itself ‘Floid’ and escape by downloading itself into a derelict maintenance bot.
Floid and The Ringmaster are on the hunt to find Earth’s greatest talents. In hopes to unlock the universe’s greatest secrets and prove Earth’s worthiness, after the auditions, they hope to create The Greatest Show in the Universe!”
