COVID Safety

Please note this event adheres to the current government guidelines in COVID safety. These conditions are subject to change.

Conditions of entry:

  • We require all event participants to sign in via the QR code displayed at point of entry. Failure to comply will result in the participant being denied access into the event. We will have a form to fill in if you are unable to sign in via a QR code.
  • Unless exempt, we require all event participants older than 8 years old to wear a mask when in doors and carry their mask when outdoors
  • We require all eligible participants to provide a valid proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination or medical exemption (for persons over 18 years of age) to a COVID Check-In Marshall, Event staff, or security. Failure to do so will result in the participant being denied access into the event.
  • If you have tested positive to COVID-19 in the last 6 days, been established as a close contact, are unwell and have COVID-19 symptoms; please do not attend event and inform Event Organiser as soon as possible.
  • Refunds will be given to attendees who are COVID positive or have been directed by DHHS to isolate. Please let Event Organiser know before the event you are unable to come, as refunds will not be given after event. Proof may be required.
  • All other refunds given are at discretion of the Event Organiser.
This is a COVID Safe event. We will do this by ensuring a COVID safe environment.
 
  • COVID safety signage will be adequately displayed, reminding us to stay 1.5 metres apart. This is also the same for back stage. 
  • Dedicated zones will be set up for alcohol, food and smoking areas. There will be 1.5 metres of space between each table.
  • Performers are to maintain physical distance from patrons during any interactions.
  • All staff, performers, and volunteers are double vaccinated.
  • All staff, performers, and volunteers will practice good hygiene, wear masks, and will be subject to monitoring there symptoms and reporting this to our COVID Marshal
  • All staff, performers, and volunteers will be trained and will sign a COVID form before each shif, as well as using the QR code
  • Sanitiser stations will be available at exit and entry points
  • There will be a COVID Check-In Marshall as well as an information tent set up to help any enquires. Location TBC.
  • Staff will be clearly labelled and will all be across COVID Safety checklist
  • Cleaning will occur throughout event, focusing on frequently touched surfaces, toilets, seats, etc
  • Digital tickets through TryBooking only, to limit handling and sale of tickets at door. This will also help to limit box office queues
  • Contract tracing through digital check-in QR codes, which will be displayed down entrance (10 metres)
  • We will provide up to date information sent via email before the event
  • If patrons do become unwell or show symptoms, there will be an allocated space to isolate them until they can get them home safely.
