Puppet Mayhem- COVID safe plan

  • Event capacity is at 75% and will not exceed 1,000 patrons
  • Doors will open 20 minutes prior to event to allow a staggered entry.
  • Multiple suggestions have been given to patrons on how to get to event, including parking and public transport
  • We require all event participants to sign in via the QR code displayed at point of entry. Failure to comply will result in the participant being denied access into the event
  • There will be multiple activations and shows on at any given time, as well as repeated acts to limit the amount of patrons gathering to view shows at once
  • Majority of shows are outdoors, and those that are indoors run for 15-20 minutes and audiences are capped. These shows will run multiple times as well, with at least 30 minute breaks between to ensure cleaning.
  • COVID safety signage will be adequately displayed, reminding us to stay 1.5 metres apart. This is also the same for back stage.
  • Zones will be set up for alcohol, food and smoking areas.
  • Performers are to maintain physical distance from patrons during any interactions
  • Sanitiser stations at exit and entry points
  • There will be a COVID Marshall as well as an information tent set up to help any enquires.
  • Staff will be clearly labelled and will all be across COVID Safety checklist
  • Cleaning will occur throughout event, focusing on frequently touched surfaces, toilets, seats, etc
  • Requesting patrons to carry as mask at all times. Masks are mandatory when travelling on public transport and recommended to be worn where physical distancing is not possible
  • Digital tickets through TryBooking, to limit handling and sale of tickets at door. This will also help to limit box office queues
  • Contract tracing through digital check-in QR codes, which will be displayed down entrance (10 metres)
  • COVID-Safety marshal at event, as well as information table to support patrons and answer questions
  •  Refunds are available if you present COVID-19 symptoms and must isolate. Please let us know before hand, as refunds will not be given after event.
  • We will provide up to date information sent via email before the event
  • If patrons do become unwell or show symptoms, there will be an allocated space to isolate them until they can get them home safely.
